The Regional festival awards were recently renamed the Nor’easters, because–why not? This year organizers took in hundreds of entries in 21 categories (besides the Overall Excellence awards) with each category subdivided into 2 for greater and lesser budgets. Our Connecticut winners all took second and third-place prizes. The gala celebration and awards ceremony, with quick clips from first-place winners, takes place midday Saturday, October 13 at Proctors Theatre complex in Schenectady, after the annual Northeast Regional Trade Show & Conference.
